  Let's talk about 419 West. Went there for my birthday on Saturday.
  
  I have been here three times in two years. Each time with no luck whatsoever getting them to cook the meat at the correct temp, and it's not even close. Whether you order medium, MR, or MW, you only get well done. And there's no one in the restaurant so it's not like they're busy. For $30 steak, you'd expect them to at least come close to the right temp. There's a huge difference between medium and well done.
  It took forty minute ticket time to get our meal the first go around.
  
  Now got the general, "What can we do to make it better". The waitress said no wonder you're being salty after I explained this was the third attempt at getting a meal cooked correctly. Really? Salty? If you had to eat your dinner after the rest of your party ate, paying full price is just icing on the cake. They never offered even 10% off. I wasn't trying to get a free meal. But supposedly it's their company policy that no matter how much they screw up, you are to pay full price if you eat the meal, no matter when you eat it, with everyone else or after everyone else. The manager was nice enough to let me know that she thought she did everything she could to solve the problem. I think she fell short.

  Nice place to take a date or to just enjoy the ambiance. Great selection of liquors. Try the bacon wrapped scallops (they are not on the menu).

  This is a terrific "business lunch" restaurant, and also a great nightspot. They have specials during football, and live entertainment that's really great! I've tried the salads (great), the edamame appetizer (loved them), the boneless chicken wings (yum), and their steaks and salmon at dinner. Not too shabby!
